If you use a desktop or laptop computer on a daily basis then you know all about the importance of the keyboard that you’re using. Some keyboards are too noisy; others are awkward in their hand placement, while others just look plain ugly. But the top 10 most expensive computer keyboards should not be considered any of the above just because of how costly they truly are! But there are some of the 10 most expensive computer keyboards on the market today:
1. Happy Hacking HP Keyboard Japan

Powdered with a fine and specific gold dust after having been swept over with a brush made with fine hairs, this keyboard was produced in Japan from the Fujitsu Company. Do you wanna know how much this computer retails for? If you want to purchase it, be prepared to pay nearly $5,000 for it. It retails for about $4,400 to be exact, but with how expensive it is- this keyboard better be painted with gold dust!
2. Stealth Keyboard for Computers

Computer users who love stainless steel will love this computer keyboard! The Stealth Computer Keyboard actually comes in a stainless steel case surrounding the keys so that it will be so durable to last a lifetime! Stainless steel is actually a very sturdy material, resisting scratches and is also easily cleanable! This keyboard retails for just $2,200.
3. TouchStream LP Keyboard

Even though the production of these keyboards is no longer in production you are still able to buy one of these TouchStream LP Keyboards on the black market and after-market sales. Costing about $1500, though, this Touchstream LP Keyboard is highly sensitive to your hands and knows what you are going to do almost before you do it. The keys and hand-gestures are also customizable when you do purchase this TouchStream keyboard.
4. Maltron Keyboard

This keyboard retails for about $1200 and is also highly-sensitive to computer user’s needs. This keyboard has a casing of stainless steel and contains poly-carbonate key tops and provides extra room so that your fingers and wrists won’t work so hard. Business men, women, and thousands of people will enjoy this simple keyboard!
5. Maltron 3D Keyboard

How would you like to have a keyboard that is automatically contoured to the human hand? Maltron has designed an ergonomic and 3d keyboard that is supposed to feel like natural hand movements when tapping keys. Some of the keys are even recessed for longer fingers also. Even though this keyboard may not look comfortable it just may surprise you; it retails for just around $700.
6. Datahand Keyboard by Professional II

This is a popular keyboard that actually molds to fit your hands while you type. This is not exactly a keyboard, though, but provides the same functionality as one. Known as the Datahand keyboard by Professional II, this computer keyboard helps typers by allowing their hands to feel comfortable as they type since it is molded perfect to their hand. This expensive and popular keyboard sells for around $675.
7. orbiTouch Keyboard

This computer keyboard is also another product that is not exactly a regular keyboard, but provides the same type of functionality as one. It contains no keys, but allows you to type when you move the dome figures across the several different positions that are available. The mouse is also contained within this orbiTouch keyboard and is used by also moving the keyboard domes. If you’d like to get your hands on this device, you’ll have to pay just $400.
8. Comfort Keyboard by Comfort Keyboard Systems

Although named the Comfort Keyboard and sells for just $350, one has to wonder if this device really is as comfortable as it is advertised to be. It is completely flexible, provides a resting reminder, and the keys are completely reprogrammable, but would computer users really benefit from the sides of the keyboard being slanted when they’re locked into position in the 3 separate sections? As far as anyone can tell though, this Comfort Keyboard is very popular considering the amount of people who have purchased one already!
9. Microsoft’s Ultimate Keyboard - the Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000

This is probably the most comfortable of all the keyboards in this list and it retails for just $250. But this keyboard that has an aluminum finish contains 4 USB ports so that you can quickly access your electronic devices. It also contains buttons for just about all of your needs for the computer and the World Wide Web!
10. Optimus Keyboard
Even though Optimus has not put this keyboard into production yet, the most we know about it so far is that it is a high-tech computer keyboard that is only in its concept phase right now. Rumored to be retailing over $1,000 when it hits the market, the Optimus keyboard will probably be designed to have many conveniences for computer users as well as having a sleek look and design!
Even though the average computer keyboard looks like a plain ol’ keyboard with the normal keys and regular buttons, many keyboards have been designed to jazz up the computer experience to make it more unique! These 10 most expensive computer keyboards are definitely some of the best in the industry and have all been designed with the computer user in mind!

Wow, these are some cryptic-looking keyboards. I would be very surprised if they didn’t damage overall productivity while using them… Especially the Maltron.
